Deep understanding of our customers’ needs With 38 years’ experience in understanding the preferences of our diverse subscriber base (language, culture, economic status, age and gender), we are well placed to anticipate and meet their evolving needs through content aggregation across linear and streaming environments. Unique understanding of customer experience Given that we provide an uninterrupted 24/7, 365-days-a-year service, our numerous customer touchpoints across multiple platforms create an opportunity for us to drive innovation in customer experience to improve customer engagement and activity. Sizeable and engaged customer base We have an ‘installed’ customer base of 9.3m 90-day active subscribers as at 31 March 2023 (FY22: 9.0m), which creates an opportunity for us to serve customers’ needs beyond entertainment. Part of a dynamic organisation investing in exciting areas While we continue to invest in our own organic development, partnerships and acquisitions, our parent organisation is also investing in a number of exciting areas including in our Rest of Africa and Showmax video businesses, interactive entertainment through KingMakers and ntech through Moment.
