Related parties continued Transactions with non-executive directors As per the MOI, directors of Phuthuma Nathi Investments (RF) Limited shall not earn directors fees from either the company or any related company as compensation for their duties as Phuthuma Nathi Investments (RF) Limited directors. Events after the reporting period Dividend The MultiChoice SA board recommends a dividend of ZAR5.5 billion (2022: ZAR6.0 billion) to its shareholders of which ZAR1.375 billion is attributable to Phuthuma Nathi. The Phuthuma Nathi board will declare a dividend of ZAR1.375 billion (2022: ZAR1.5 billion) to be paid in the nancial year 2024. This amounts to 2 037.03 cents per Phuthuma Nathi ordinary share to be paid to shareholders (2022: 2 222.22 cents). The declaration of this dividend is subject to the approval of the MultiChoice SA board, which will be con rmed by shareholders at the MultiChoice SA AGM on 23 August 2023. On approval, the Phuthuma Nathi dividend will be payable to shareholders in the share register on 23 August 2023 and paid on or about 4 September 2023. After the 20% dividend tax, amounting to 407.40 cents per share is deducted, Phuthuma Nathi shareholders will receive a net dividend of 1 629.63 cents per share (2022: 1 777.78 cents per share). There have been no other events noted, that occurred after the reporting date that could have a material impact on the annual nancial statements.
